As an author, Naomi has stories published in multiple anthologies including her award-winning story “Coyote” in Straight Outta Tombstone — a best-selling Weird West anthology, the Native American anthology Life on the Rez: Science Fiction and Fantasy Inspired by Life on America’s Indian Reservations, Enter the Apocalypse by TANSTAAFL Press, and more.
When not writing, she can be found with a book in her hand, very often reading two or three at a time, with murder mysteries, crime, thrillers, and horror being her favorites. Naomi loves all kinds of books, and her favorite authors are: Octavia E. Butler, Michael Crichton, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Daphne Du Maurier, Stephen King, Harper Lee, Delia Owen, Mary Stewart, and William Shakespeare.
There’s just something about autumn though, isn’t it? Cooler, brisker, scarier. Some of the leaves turn colors, although, East, you’ve got us beat. It’s sweater weather again, pumpkin lattes come out, and gourds appear outside every market. I’m waiting until the temperature dips a little more to buy my pumpkins. I don’t want my decorations to cook on the porch.
