Unfading Daydream Issue 4: Retold 2018

Her long teeth were yellow and crooked with gobbets of meat and sinew caught between. There were stains of red on her cheeks and chin, and as he watched in horror, she licked her lips voraciously and chortled deep in her throat, the scent of death coming from her open mouth.

This is a retelling of the fairy tale “Red Riding Hood.” I love when my female characters are not just fodder for men or good for nothing except bedding. Yuck. Give me a strong female badass character. Give ’em hell, Red!
